Research states that children should do a minimum of 1 hour of exercise each day. We know in this fast paced life, this is not always the case. The team at Tribal Fitness have put together some superb group sessions which can be delivered to the students either as a start of the day ‘Sunrise Session’, Lunchtime ‘Re-fresh Session’ or ‘Extra Curricular’, after school session.
The class will comprise of a warm up, cool down and a main group session which will be structured around the children  being arranged into groups to work through a number of activities including but not limited to: lifting, shifting, carrying, dragging, pulling and running as well as a mixture of cardio exercises
The aim of the session is to build on their strength and to encourage their development in a safe environment. The children will have the opportunity to lead their groups, build confidence in themselves and others, increase team communication, make new friendships, strengthen old friendships, self develop and self challenge.
At Tribal we are very passionate about children’s wellness; mentally and physically. We believe that a ‘before school, during school or after school’ programme will help children to thrive further in the classroom which in turn helps them to build confidence and flourish in their personal life. Exercise helps to increase your child’s motor skills and support better sleep patterns at night. It encourages brain development and helps increase a child’s focus, attentiveness and concentration ready for the school day ahead. Aerobic fitness improves academics assisting in creating better brain connectivity.
We are here to empower students to improve themselves mentally, physically and socially, whatever age they are.

I know what works. I have children of my own, I know what is required to keep them stimulated. I have worked for many years in a primary and secondary school and understand the expectations of a school environment, as well as leading a group of 30 teenage Army Cadets with a mixture of Adventurous Training Activities. Using a combination of skills within my skill set, I am very proud of the rapour that I have built with my current students and the sessions that I deliver, whether that be in group session or a one to one.  The sessions are fun, unique and unusual, they most definitely get the children wanting to return term after term.
