SLINDON SLOG 2020

This 10 mile trail run is set in stunning village of Slindon. Starting off at the Slindon Cricket Club on Mill Road the run route will take you out from the cricket club and into the slindon pits for your first burst of mud, water and sand. 1 lap of the pits to get you warmed up, the route will then lead you off into the woods for some scenic woodland trails for a good few miles. The route is an out and back with a visit to the ‘steps of doom’ . When you feel like your legs can’t take anymore, we finish you off with another lap of the pits followed by a run back to the cricket club where you will find the finish line waiting for you, along with some refreshments and fresh fruit. Friends and Family are most welcome to stay and support you. You will be starting and finishing in the same place, so a perfect spot for your supporters to take pictures. 

This event is fantastic for groups of friends, family or work colleagues that would like to run together and have a blast. It is also fantastic for the more experienced trail runner who would like to smash out a PB in some unique surroundings. Run alone and you will soon make friends with other like- minded runners, as some parts of the route you will naturally work together to complete. 

Parking will be available for you at the Cricket Club  (please note this will  be limited and we ask that you car share where possible). 

Registration will take place on the day, opening at 8.00am The race will start at 9.00am gun time. There will be multiple snack and water stations on the route for all runners and for any doggies running as canicross they will also have access to dog water bowls and treats, so no one is left out!

All finishers will receive a bespoke medal and t-shirt 

The event will be chip timed

Canicross runners are most welcome (no more than 2 dogs per person) 

Please note: If you are booking into the race as an ‘Affiliated Runner’ you are agreeing to already being affiliated to UKA or ARC, who will provide you with your insurance cover for the race. Any other affiliations do not count.For anyone selecting the ‘Non Affiliated’ runner option you will be purchasing 1 day insurance cover from us, for the event.
