EVENT DETAILS

SLINDON SLOG 2020

We will be putting on a 1k route in which your kiddies can choose to run 1, 2 , 3 or 4 laps of the course. This will be located in the centre of Slindon Pits. There will be lots of mud, sand and some water!
 
Along the route they will have a few obstacles to overcome, such as the ‘Log Carry’, ‘Tyre Drag’, ‘Cargo Net Crawl’.
 
Your ‘little ones’ can pick a distance:  
 
1k   £8.00 per child  – PINK WAVE
2k   £9.00 per child – BLUE WAVE
3k   £10.00 per child – YELLOW WAVE
4k   £11.00 per child – GREEN WAVE
 
Minimum age 4 years old, maximum age 16 years old.
 
Each wave (1k, 2k, 3 k or 4k ) will be started separately with a few mins gap between them.  They have a dedicated lead runner to guide them around the route in a coloured high-vis jacket in the colour that their wave designated to. 
 
Each finisher will receive their own bespoke event medal and a goody bag filled with some treats to reward them after their efforts and achievements. 
 
Finisher T-Shirts will be available to order after the race should you wish to treat your little stars!
 
Registration will take place at Slindon Pits, Slindon, West sussex from 12.00pm in the centre of the pits. The Car Park will be also open from 12.00pm.
 
CAR PARK: PLEASE KINDLY NOTE: Due to the nature of this venue, the car park is based at the Slindon Cricket Club on Mill Road with a 10min walk to the centre of the pits where the children’s race will start, Please be aware of this. The directions from the car park (CAR PARK NO.2) to the start line, will be clearly signposted with large arrows.
 
We must stress that your children will get muddy, sandy and wet, but they will LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! 
 
Please bring the following items with you for your children to access after they have finished their run:  drinks & food, spare set of clothing, bin bag to put all dirty/wet clothing in, a towel and some wet wipes!
 
We ask that any child under the age of 6 years of age is accompanied by an adult on the race route, whether it be 1k, 2k, 3k or 4k
 
We ask that any parent or carer with any children over the age of 6 years old, who chooses not to run with their child/children, stay within close proximity to the race route/finish line.
 
Upon booking and paying for your entry/entries, you are automatically agreeing to our T&C’s
